Today, July 29, 2022, would have been Dee Ann Warner’s 54th birthday. Instead, she vanished from her Tecumseh, Michigan farm on April 25, 2021. The 52-year-old mother and grandmother didn’t use a cellphone, vehicle, or bank cards. She left behind her $50,000 wedding ring and something far more precious — her nine year old daughter.

Her adult children and family do not believe she left voluntarily and do not believe she is still alive. “It was the fact her little girl wasn’t with her that was the biggest alarm. Dee wouldn’t have left her behind in a million years.” Parker Hardy, Dee’s nephew, told me. “Her kids and grandkids were everything to her.”

To date, there are been no arrests and frustration runs high for Dee’s family, friends, and the community who mourns her. On August 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM, there will be a Justice For Dee rally on the front lawn of the Old Courthouse located at 301 N. Main Street, Adrian, Michigan.

Kathryn Adams, longtime friend of Dee Warner, is hosting the event. “We encourage people to wear their Justice for Dee shirts, her favorite color purple, or cheetah print clothing. They can feel free to bring homemade signs or their yard signs,” Kathryn told me.
