Honestly, I did a thirty day stint in Europe, which I loved and have been to Mexico a dozen times, been to the Caribbean and visited my gaggle of cousins across the country. Trust me, I wasn’t wealthy and travelled on the cheap. People are the same intrinsically. That’s the magic. We might have different habits, customs, and food preferences, but we all feel hurt, love, and hope the same way … and as we dance around in a starry-eyed haze, there are still assholes that long to bring you down. Disregard them and focus on the good stuff.

In my experience, Michigan has everything I need to call home. We are so lucky. It is fun and exciting to go elsewhere … but, like you, I am smitten with the mitten! ❤️💕
